Machine Programming heavily relies on Machine Learning (ML) techniques. However, ML usually allows for some inaccuracy in results. A High-Level Vision
Machine Programming is built on three pillars, as defined in the original visionary paper1:
- It serves as a link between a human and a machine. It enables humans to express their intent in any way they see fit. A UML diagram, pseudocode, or even natural language could be used. The machine should be able to adapt regardless of the format. It's as if you're communicating with the machine.
